HO CHI MINH CITY, June 1 (Xinhua) -- An international exhibition on information and communication technology, telecommunications, electronics and broadcasting (ICTCOMM) will take place here on June 7-9, with the participation of over 300 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions.

At ICTCOMM, firms from China's Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, India, Thailand, Vietnam and other countries will share experience, transfer technology, and seek potential partners for stronger production and business, the three-day event's organizers said Friday.

Symposiums on the fourth industrial revolution, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things and cloud computing will be organized on the sidelines of ICTCOMM.

In 2017, the number of wired broadband Internet subscriptions in Vietnam surged 18.7 percent on-year to 10.8 million, according to the Vietnam Telecommunications Authority.

Meanwhile, the country made telecommunications revenues of 380 trillion Vietnamese dong (16.8 billion U.S. dollars), up 7.3 percent.
